Your choice of weight loss systems can literally make or break your chances of losing weight and keeping it off for good.  While the fundamental weight loss principles will never change, the fact that everybody is different means that what works well for you and allows you to lose weight quickly, may not work at all for someone else.

In my opinion, the key to sustained weight loss is finding an organized weight loss program that you can identify with.  One that fits into your lifestyle well and allows you to make steady and consistent progress towards your ultimate goal… a new slimmer body!

Effective Weight Loss Systems Will Combine A Healthy
Diet And An Intelligent Exercise Program

 

Ideally these weight loss systems or programs should be a combination of a well balanced healthy whole food based nutrition plan or diet and an intelligent approach to fat loss exercise and fitness.  This is the best way to lose weight, strip off body fat and keep it off for good – a synergistic (diet and fitness combined) approach to healthy living, weight loss and healthy nutritional habits.

Now don’t get me wrong here, while your weight loss program should include some form of regular resistance based exercise combined with aerobic exercise this doesn’t mean that you have to be working out in a gym or health club. In fact you can get a great workout in at the park or even in your home, so don’t think that you’re going to have to shell out a few hundred dollars for expensive exercise equipment or a gym membership.

But you definitely do have to be consistent with whatever approach you take to stripping off body fat and losing weight, or else you simply won’t be able to achieve your weight loss goals. In fact I think that consistency over time with your approach to weight loss is the single biggest factor to losing a lot of weight fast and keeping it off down the road.

I see a lot of men and women who continue to try and implement weight loss programs that just don’t fit into their way of life at all. What winds up happening is that while they initially lose a bit of weight in the beginning either they burn out on an overly restrictive diet or crazy fitness program or they do a great job of implementing the steps for a few months (they wind up losing a lot of weight) and then go back to their “old way of life” and put on even more weight than they took off in the first place.

Not only is this a frustrating and deflating thing to experience, but down the line this yo-yo cycle of losing weight and then putting it back on again can lead to health problems. That’s why I feel that it’s so important to know your own limits and search out a few weight loss systems that you can live with for the rest of your life.  One that allows you to gradually make changes to your current lifestyle without having to get “too hard-core” and change everything all at once. That way once you make a change to your current lifestyle, you can make it a habit and continue to build upon new healthier habits –over time this is what will ultimately allow you to lose weight and what will make or break a weight loss system (in my opinion anyway).
